My name is Elizabeth Allen and I am the founder of Sound Success Accent Reduction. 

 

In my work I find great pleasure in helping my clients, both domestically and internationally, to significantly improve their pronunciation of the English language.

 

Specializing in Accent Modification, I am trained and certified to utilize the nationally acclaimed Compton P-ESL Program through the Institute of Language and Phonology. I am also a certified Accent Trainer in the Sam Chwat Method of Accent Modification.

 

I am a licensed and nationally certified Speech & Language Pathologist with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the Massachusetts General Hospital's Institute of Health Professions (MGH-IHP) in Boston, Massachusetts.  At MGH I also earned certification as a Reading Specialist.  I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology and am a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). In the past, I also enjoyed working with adults in Japan as an ESL (English as a Second Language) instructor through the esteemed AEON English Language Schools.
